The Shrewsbury School Day Parents' Association (SSDPA) are holidng their annual Jazz on the Lawn at KH on 31st May this year - this is earlier than usual, due to the lateness of the jubilee half term.

Despite their name, the SSDPA are keen to stress that the event is not just for day parents, and anybody with a link to the school is welcome to attend.

Tickets are £15 per person, and all proceeds will be going directly to Medic Malawi - every penny raised will be spent either in the hospital, the school or the orphenage that 24 pupils and staff will be visiting this summer.

  This summer, Shrewsbury School will be running cricket courses for local children aged between 8 and 13 years.  The courses will be based in the School's purpose-built indoor cricket school and will run from 10am to 4pm each day, and will be led by our visiting Australian coach Ross Stephen, together with ECB qualified coaches.

In addition to this half term course, Ross will also be running courses from 9th to 13th July, and from 6th to 10th August 2012.

Open Days are informal and fun occasions that allow you to meet the Headmaster, Housemasters, current pupils and senior staff, to have a tour of the school, and to ask any questions you like.

Lunch-time drinks for all supporters and parents of the competing 1st VIII and 2nd VIII - Wednesday 27 June 12 noon until 13.30

Please note that the drinks will now be held at Henley Cricket Club Ground - postcode  RG9 3DB.  The entrance is at Remenham Lane and Matson Drive between Butlers Field and the known landmark of the Little Angel Pub, 200 yards from the Leander Club main road entrance.

This is an opportunity for parents, crew members, coaches and supporters to meet at the opening day of the Regatta and also provides a useful rendezvous location.
